It's OK for a narrow play yard, By SG351 (GA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Summer Infant Portable Crib Pad (Baby Product) I bought this play yard crib mattress for our Baby Trend Nambia play yard. We were about to go on vacation, and my daughter would never sleep too well in her play yard. I got this crib mattress thinking that it may add some comfort to the play yard, as the "mattress" that came with it was very hard and stiff. The length of 38 inches was perfect, but the width of 22.5 inches was way too narrow. There was a good inch and a half gap on each side of the pad. I considered rolling up a blanket to stuff down in the gap, but I was worried about her suffocating on the blankets. It is also pretty thin at only 1 inch thick, so I didn't know how comfortable that would be for a baby to sleep on all night. I ultimately returned it and got a wider and thicker mattress.This mattress may be fine if your play yard is narrow, but it didn't work for us. |
