We have been using the Koala Baby Deluxe Plush Sheet Saver on our son's crib since he was a newborn. We tied the anchor points as tight as possible and spread apart as wide as possible. We woke this morning to find our son's face underneath the sheet saver up to his chest. He must have wiggled his way in between the sheet saver and the mattress. He is ok but it obviously posed a huge SIDS RISK had we not noticed it on the monitor and rushed in to pull him out. The product was ok when he was a newborn and couldn't wiggle or move, but he is 4.5 months now and this product is obviously dangerous now. Babies R Us lists the manufacturer's age as Birth-24months. The underside of the sheet saver is nylon polyester and could easily have sufficated him. We are very scared for other parents who are using this product and don't believe that it should be used after 2months old.
