Attempting to put on the sheets, the buckle which adjusts the straps tension broke. Upon close inspection, the buckle is found to be extremely cheap and flimsy. Very light weight metal which distorts and comes off the hinge pins with little pressure on the elastic. Speaking of elastic, the quality of the elastic was very poor. It had little memory or stretch, like if you found an old elastic in your late grandmother's attic that had been there for 40 years.Only good thing I can say is the "jaws" which grab the sheet are well designed, but with the rest of the components very poor, there is no value. A chain is no stronger than its weakest line and this product has 2 of 3 links very weak. We've tried 2 other kinds befor comming across these. Those others slipped all the time, their clips wouldn't hold and were hard to use (that was befor they broke). If your sheets won't stay on like ours wouldn't, get these suspenders. You may have to adjust the positioning of the clips after a few nights. The sheets will settle but with the easy to open and close clips, no problem. |
