Great for the price, September 18, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kid-ding Waterproof Crib Pads - 2 Pack - 27" x 50" (Baby Product) These are not "fitted" waterproof pads, so if that's what you're looking for, keep looking. We decided we prefer the "flat" pad to fitted...we had one fitted in the beginning and it was horrible to try to stretch over the mattress, finally sold it.
We just ordered another 2 pk of these flat pads to be ready for potty training, and we've used the first two (one set) for over 2 years now. They're still in pretty good shape, considering the use--the edges don't look fantastic, but really, still look pretty good for 2 years of constant washes! Flat pads do tend to bunch up a little as you're stretching out the fitted crib sheet over top of them, but I guess it's whatever works for you---I hated fighting the fitted waterproof pad and then the fitted sheet, personally. These are also great for layering, which we've started doing lately---we lay one down, put a fitted sheet over it, and repeat that for 3 layers. Then at night we're only taking off a set, instead of changing the... Read more

I cut some up into halves and quarters to make feeding mats/lap protectors & travel changing pads of generous proportion. Remarkably absorbent for a thin sheet, even quarter-size will easily absorb a surprise 'attack' of baby urine.

Functional, September 4, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kid-ding Waterproof Crib Pads - 2 Pack - 27" x 50" (Baby Product) The pad has been good at being waterproof... that being said... it's a pain when put in the dryer as the vinyl backing sticks to itself. This pad isn't as comfortable to sleep on vs. other crib pads (it's stiffer and has more noise) that don't have the backing to it... but I think it's the backing that allows it to last longer being waterproof vs. the ones that don't have that backing. However, when washed often enough, the vinyl backing is starting to separate from the pad..... soooo... I won't be buying these again.
