Alternative option, August 20, 2011 This review is from: Memory Foam Crib Mattress Topper with Zippered Encasement - size 28x52 (Baby Product) We went with a Full size 2 inch memory foam topper and cut it down to crib size (52 x 27). The big size is cheaper and you can get 2 crib toppers out of it! Memory foam does age so the extra piece will come in handy over time or if you have more children.

His little arm on the bottom would get crushed into his firm infant mattress, and he had also developed quite a flat head from the mattress being so hard. This product is really great to put on top of your crib mattress so that the child can be a little more comfortable. While I probably wouldn't have used it for a newborn, I wish I had had it a bit earlier, say around 6 months. The quality of the cover seems reasonably good as well. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the memory foam is cut a little short on all sides.

I bought it for my 2 year old son to fit in his standard crib. I gave this product four stars instead of five, because I was impressed with the overall product, but was slightly disappointed in the size. As I stated, the crib it was going in is a standard size. The length was perfect, but I thought it was a little skimpy in the width. Overall, I am very pleased with this product, and my son seems to sleep very comfortably on it. I would still recommend this product to anyone.
